Bob Jenkins Featured on the Paw’d Cast

Let Your Love Grow Co-Founder and President Bob Jenkins was recently featured on the Paw’d Cast, a podcast presented by Faithful Friends. The podcast provides supportive information on pet topics that matter by people who know and care about issues and solutions to benefit our relationships with pets — our faithful friends.

Bob spoke directly with Toni Noel, the owner of Faithful Friends, to explain how he and his wife, Annette Jenkins, were inspired to create a pet memorialization product after the passing of their beloved dachshund, Silke.

“When a pet dies, we know we're going to outlive them, but it still breaks our heart when they leave our lives,” Bob said. “We’ve tried to create something that can be individual to the person because grief is as individual as we are.”

The pair consulted environmental engineers, composting experts and plant laboratories — combining their expertise, they crafted a mixture to lower the pH of the soil and encourage plant growth. Now, Let Your Love Grow is available in five countries and three continents. Bob emphasized that the versatility of the product attracts grieving families with a variety of living conditions and needs.

“We tried to make it as usable as possible because everyone grieves differently — and as you know, especially with pet grief,” Bob said.

Amid modern greenwashing, Bob shared that Let Your Love Grow was the first green memorialization product to be backed by science. Using the soil mixture, families worldwide give cherished family members new life through memorial plants.

“We wanted to create something that’s easy to use, has universal use and creates that moment of therapeutic grief closure for families,” Bob said. “That’s really what it comes down to.”
